ITF WOMEN’S PALMANOVA II

Sixth seed Isabel Wallace raised the title on the Vilas Tennis Academy central court after defeating the german player Katharina Hobgarski, third seed, 76 64.

It is the second title in the Mallorca ITF tour for the australian player, after her victory at the ITF Women’s Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar two weeks ago. It should be pointed out that Isabel had to get over on the first round a 5-2 in the first set against the local Rosa Vicens.

The victory in the doubles competition was for the Spaniard Irene Burillo and the Russian Knesija Sharifova, 76 64, avoiding a double-title for Isabel Wallace, who played the doubles draw with the Portuguese Ines Murta.

These final matches closed down the ITF Pro Circuit Tour here in Mallorca, with 4 Men and 4 Women tournaments this year. Next international meeting will be the 10th of April, with a Tennis Europe U14 Trophy in Vilas Tennis Academy.
